Points Ive not seen ANYONE else writing at any length about. The main point Im talking about here is that we place freedom of religion on a high, high pedestal, high, high above, for example, plain old individual freedom. And worse yet, in order to qualify as RELIGIOUS freedom (and hence, for our rulers to allow the believer that freedom at all), the belief has to be IRRATIONAL! RATIONAL beliefs dont qualify for this very, very sacred thing called religious freedom at ALL!!!! Many examples are given. Ill just mention one here: If you belong to a church, and in exchange for your donations, you are allowed some rational benefits from the church (schooling for your kids, clothes, shelter, medical care), then you must back out your rational benefits (subtract their value) from your donations, before you claim your donations for a taxbenefit. If, on the other hand, you belong to the Church of Scientology, and you donate money to them in exchange for having your engrams audited away with an E-meter (a process which this church seems to hint will solve all your troubles), then this money is fully deductible! Bottom line here, as in other places, is that in order for your beliefs to qualify for religious freedom, they must be IRRATIONAL!!!! This, while mainstream ministers are afraid to counsel people about anything personal, restricting their advice only to purely religious matters, for fear of being sued for counseling malpractice! This and much other insanity is examined and spoofed mercilessly. -- Titus Stauffer
